Mounika Maddipatla - Tax Principal

Mounika is a trusted business advisor with varied experience over 22 years in Transfer Pricing, International Tax, Intercompany Accounting and Audit. She leads the tax practice at Elixir, roping in experts from other tax and non-tax areas to offer holistic solutions to cross-border business issues. ​​ ​​

Mounika has been a Finance Controller with Goldman Sachs, led the Global Transfer Pricing and Tax Strategy function at a NASDAQ listed company, was with the International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice at couple of the Big 4 firms in India and the US, and until recently, led the strategic transfer pricing practice at a Big 5 firm, in the Technology, Telecommunication and Lifesciences industries. ​​ ​​

As a transfer pricing professional, Mounika’s focus extends beyond regular documentation and advisory work. She has developed a niche in helping businesses utilize transfer pricing as a strategic tool to help them better achieve their strategic objectives, utilize system cash better and achieve a competitive and sustainable tax rate. ​Mounika has previously been a speaker at TP Minds Americas and several other tax forums. Jerry Bregg, CPA,
Federal Income Tax and International Tax

Jerry Bregg is a partner with Whittet Consulting, a specialty advisory firm. Jerry has extensive experience with federal income taxes and international taxes related to cross-border transactions with the U.S. Prior to his currently role, Jerry was a partner with CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) and an office managing partner with BDO. Jerry began his career with Arthur Andersen in their international tax practice then continued with Deloitte. After Deloitte, Jerry was the head of tax for Cricket Wireless, a $3 billion revenue, publicly-traded company.

In addition to his advisory roles, Jerry is an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah where he teaches tax research and international tax to Master of Accounting students.

Patrick Lennartz - Sales and Use Tax Expert

Patrick Lennartz is the founder of Wolf Sales Tax LLC, a United States tax consulting firm focused on U.S. sales and use tax. Wolf Sales Tax LLC assists Elixir with providing sales and use tax services to Elixir’s clients.

Patrick has more than 20 years of tax experience with a primary focus on US sales and use taxes. He has served a variety of clients that include fortune fifty companies, international clients, private equity, startups, and family-owned businesses. Patrick has served a variety of clients that include fortune fifty companies, international clients, private equity, startups, and family-owned businesses.

Patrick is an Attorney and former Big Four Senior Manager originally from Dayton, Ohio. He received an accounting degree from Ohio University and earned a law degree from Loyola University Chicago. Patrick is also a member of the Illinois State Bar.

Patrick has extensive experience defending taxpayers under state sales and use tax audits, negotiating audit settlements, and obtaining sales and use tax refunds. He has worked in offices located in Chicago, Bermuda, Washington D.C., Milwaukee, as well as Columbus and has provided sales and use tax consulting to clients throughout the United States. He has also assisted international companies headquartered in Canada and Europe.

In addition to directly serving tax clients, Patrick has given sales and use tax support to Chicago and New York law firms. Patrick has shared his in-depth sales and use tax knowledge and experiences as a tax presenter for COST, Lorman, the Tax Executive Institute, and as a guest law school lecturer.

Richard Baxter

Richard has over 35 years of experience advising on international indirect tax matters. He is the former head of indirect tax at Arthur Andersen UK and the head of indirect tax technology at Deloitte. His clients have included many Fortune 500 companies and also meaningful entrepreneurs which have required assistance in managing their international indirect tax strategy, compliance and support with local execution.

In addition to his consulting roles Richard has served in significant in-house roles as interim head of VAT of Lehman Bros in Ch11, and at P&G Pharma.

Richard has also undertaken major work in the public sector having led a review of the Task Force for Greece for the European Commission; he also led a tax team advising the Government Development Bank of Puerto Rico.

Richard is the founder of Desucla which provides tax infrastructure and payments capability for non-resident businesses trading internationally. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford, a Chartered Tax Adviser and is based in Lisbon.​​
